Prayer Partner Conference 2014
Great Shelford Free Church near Cambridge was the venue for the second year running for the annual TFM Prayer Partners Conference. This was a conference with a difference, not only were there reports on the work of TFM over the last year but we were saying goodbye to John Hibberd, TFM's senior evangelist, and welcoming Richard Scott who will be taking over from John this September. We were also celebrating the 70th birthday of Daniel Cozens, the founder of TFM.
Over 130 TFM prayer partners, supporters and team members gathered to hear reports from TFM staff members on our missions and other events. Richard Scott, who has recently been appointed as the new lead evangelist for TFM, gave a short introduction of himself and some initial thoughts on the future direction of TFM. In the afternoon we celebrated Daniel Cozens 70th birthday. Daniel founded TFM in 1989 and he took the opportunity of his 70th birthday to talk about his life's ministry under the heading 'This Wonderful Life'. Daniel's talk and those from Richard Scott, Roger Murphy and John Hibberd can be listened to online or downloaded using the links below.
Sadly Peter Adams, who has worked with Daniel since the beginning of TFM, could not be at the conference due to ill health but Peter, who lead the recent Two Rivers Mission, sent in a written report on the mission which was read out by Roger Murphy. The full text of Peter's report can be read here
