Engaging in Mission
Through Faith Missions (TFM) exists to do evangelism, serving churches and organisations, involving many Christians in the task.

A message from Tim Hall
|
Earlier this summer, I was given a Bible verse ‘for TFM’. Part of it reads:-
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.
It came to mind as the TFM staff recently looked at our calendar for 2020 and realised just how busy we will be:- two large missions, a good number of training/mission weekends – a lot of planning for 2021 and still the enquiries come in!
Alongside this, God has been shaping the staff team of TFM:- we have seen Mike Watts leave, now we have Roz Haycock leaving “I have enjoyed three and a half dedicated years at TFM and would like to thank all of TFM supporters for their love and support during my time with you. I now feel that God’s calling on my life is leading me into a new adventure to explore other branches of ministry and evangelism” We wish her well in her exciting venture ahead.
And Jim Fleming has recently been offered a new job, so he too will leave after the Gathered in Mission; Jim said:-
“Sadly my last day of employment with TFM will be at the end of the month. I have been offered a part time position with Christians Against Poverty as an Area Manager in Northern Ireland. I have loved my two years with TFM and am very grateful for all I have learnt, for the opportunities to share the Gospel and the wonderful people I have met and worked with. Special thanks to Richard Scott, Roger Murphy and Tim Hall for their help, understanding and direction.
I will still be helping with preparations for ‘Gathered In’ and plan to take part during the second week.
Lastly, it has been really lovely to meet so many dedicated TFMers at various events and training and thank you all so much for your highly valued prayers. Every blessing to each and every one of you!”
Amid all the leavings though, we report some arrivals, too… we have appointed Daniel Holland as evangelist, we have an advert out for a media person and another advert will shortly follow for a part time Mission and Prayer Secretary to work alongside David Baslington.
It is exciting times we live in! And I am so pleased to have all these opportunities to do what we were founded to do:- preach the word at all times and in all places.
