Dan runs the Cambridge Half Marathon

Two years ago, just a week before the pandemic in 2020 I completed the Cambridge half marathon for TFM and, due to generous sponsorships, raised almost £3,500 for the ministry. My thought was that each £100 represented every year of TFM’s existence.

This year, 2022, I competed again just for ‘fun’ and proudly wore my TFM T-shirt, so good to be out and about again! Running through the colleges and cobbled streets is a great way to see Cambridge, a city rich in Christian heritage and architectural beauty. Slowly I am getting my bearings around the city, living as I do 14 miles out in St Ives. Also, I am building up my fitness in preparation for the London Marathon in October when I will be raising money for the Light College, an evangelistic ministry partly based in Great Gransden near St Neots. I am delighted to support the evangelistic ministry of a friend, evangelist Chris Duffet.
I am also part of a Christian group called the Cambridge revival hub, we meet fortnightly in St Edwards church in the very heart of Cambridge. I represent TFM in this group with monthly outdoors evangelistic events in Cambridge market place.
Please pray for me as I continue my build up to the 2022 London Marathon, an exciting first for me.
