Rushden Training weekend 

Dan Holland, rt, led a training weekend at St Peters Rushden this last weekend, March 11-13, 2022 assisted by Tony Lumb,  Jeremy Borton and George Martin (taking the photo!).

Rachel welcomes the team.  We had previously visited the church during the Walk the Way mission in 2022

Dan writes...

'We had a powerful day at St Peter’s praying together with some of the core congregation members and Rev Rachel.  Over packed lunches we shared mission testimonies and reminisced about Walk the Way and the Via Beata. Our contact with Rushden stems from one of the Walk the Way weeks last summer where George and others stayed with Rachel at the Vicarage.
 
In the afternoon we prayer-walked around key places in the town, stopping outside churches and significant points to specifically lift them to God. We met ‘by chance’ the incoming pastor of the Mission Church which may be a good contact. Overall we left the church members encouraged and we felt inspired about the forthcoming mission in July.'
