St Johns Stratford - Sunday 6 August 

Paul Preston, Chair of Trustees and Dan Holland visited St Johns Stratford, a church we have partnered with over many years. 


Paul writes.

It is always a pleasure to return to churches we have partnered with in mission and this is something Dan Holland has been keen to facilitate.  I have been excited to see the friendships with churches in Basingstoke and Wolverhampton developing.
 
For me it was a special joy to return to Stratford on Sunday to accompany Dan for an invitation to preach the gospel in the open air at St Johns.   The brothers and sisters at St Johns understand what TFM is about, having hosted a number of missions there over the years including the Ultimate Gold Festival for the 2012 Olympics.  I had an amazing training weekend there prior to Walk Kent and I was last there for a training weekend and smaller mission in  2019.  It was lovely to see St Johns members who have been on missions with us and supported us.  I was so encouraged by their smiles and testimonies; we were among TFM family again. 
 
It was good to know that their enthusiasm for mission has not diminished and I came home feeling blessed by the response to Dan’s message and keen to return there to share Jesus in the community there.
